Chris Rust is currently the choir director at Sunset High School in Portland, OR and director of the Chancel Choir at the Lake Oswego United Methodist Church.  Before coming to Sunset, he worked for five years at Riverdale Grade School, teaching band, choir, jazz band and general music.  His education includes a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Theory and Composition from Arizona State University and a Master of Educational Administration from Lewis and Clark College.  In addition to teaching, Chris is an avid composer and has received commissions from public schools, community and church choirs, ballet studios and private businesses.  He lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon with his wife Elissa and three children.
