Things My Three Year Old Said To Me This Week-Exactly what the title suggests! An absolute audience (and adjudicator) favorite. Written for SATB choir and piano. Requiem for Two Travelers-Commissioned for the 2004 Portland Metro Honor Choir, this hauntingly beautiful piece combines the traditional Latin text with the English writing on two epitaphs. For SATB choir, piano and optional cello. Holiday Party-A fun, quirky yet accessible piece for SATB choir, piano and optional flute. Silent Night/Away in a Manger-A beautiful arrangement of these two classic carols that weaves them together in the final verse. For SATB choir, piano and optional oboe. Snow Lullaby-A simple, yet elegant lullaby for SAB choir, piano and flute. Tenting Tonight-An SSAA arrangement (with optional guitar accompaniment) of the classic folk song. Tyger-An accappella setting of the famous poem by William Blake. For SATB choir, unaccompanied. Little Lamb-An accappella setting of the famous poem by William Blake. For SATB choir, unaccompanied. Lullaby-A very accessible, beautiful piece for SA chorus, oboe and choir. Scream-A fun novelty song written for unison voices choir piano. Solo Piano Circus Peanuts- A twenty minute composition, commissioned by Ballet Etudes for their annual spring recital. There is an abridged version available for concert performance (approx. 10 minutes long) Prelude in Thirds-A short solo piano piece written in the likes of Samuel Barber and early Aaron Copland. Aku'u-A short composition written during my first year of college following the likes of George Winston and David Lanz. Solo Voice Clever Wicked Witch-A musical theater piece performed by the wicked witch in "The Wizard of Oz" (the original musical doesn't have the wicked witch sing and I felt the witch we cast was just too talented to not get a song!) I've got a plan-Written for a staged adaptation of "The Snow Queen" by Thom Bray. Adios-A light-hearted, fun song for mezzo soprano based on the poem by Naomi Shihab-Nye. Famous-A lyrical song for mezzo soprano based on the poem by Naomi Shihab-Nye. Got to have a strong accompanist for this one! |
